This is the most basic block that powers items. When turned on it powers wires attached to it which in turn may power items (like the thruster Block).
Look at it and hit e to turn it off and on.
Buttons have 3 modes, shift + interact with it to change its mode. Modes are:

| Toggle | Interacting with the block turns it on or off |
| Pulse | Interacting with the block turns it on then it turns itself off after a short time |
| Pules (one tick only) | Interacting with the block turns it on then it turns itself off after a single signal tick; the shortest time period possible. |
